lyrics

We’ve been down this road
I know we’ve been here before
everything look so familiar
I don’t even need the tour

We’ve been down this road
seems like yesterday
I can still hear you talking
without a damn thing to say

all day listening
you put me in my place
from scream to whispering
it never seem to end
until your blue in the face

We’ve been down this road
one too many times it seems
you say the same things over and over
but I still don’t know what you mean

We’ve been down this road
you tell me what and why
but I ain’t listening’ to you no more
I’m gonna live until the day I die

I gave you everything
you take and ask for more
you leave me wondering
if this is what you call love,
god what could be instore

We’ve been down this road
it may seem new to you
but that because you pay no attention
to the things that you say or do

We’ve been down this road
We’ve been down this road
We’ve been down this road
We’ve been down this road

But somehow they still found time to do acoustic gigs. In 2009, the pair resolved to celebrate their 15th year together by adding Sean Rhiney and Bill Donabedian as their backing band and turn up the volume. ... more
