lyrics

Rain fall silent,
thunder is her voice
storm turn violent,
by nature not by choice
but I will stand my ground,
as the rain run down my face
fears will slowly drown,
to everything it’s place

No time wasted,
on a journey once begun
that not tasted,
will soon begin to run
soon it fills up Johnson’s creek
and runs past Miller’s field
when good earth is washed away,
secrets are reveled

I want to live my life like Johnson’s creek,
It knows not where it goes
In want to feel her stones beneath my feet,
Grow stronger as it flows
I want to live my life like Johnson’s creek,
May rise and it may fall
But come morning when it reach the sea,
It’s missed nothing at all
It’s touched every mile

Path is turning,
it follows no design
never certain,
but never falls behind
running, twisting wild and free,
but safe here in her banks
learn to never take for granted,
and always to give thanks

It’s touched every mile
It’s seen everything

But somehow they still found time to do acoustic gigs. In 2009, the pair resolved to celebrate their 15th year together by adding Sean Rhiney and Bill Donabedian as their backing band and turn up the volume. ... more
