lyrics

I don’t like hangings, it doesn’t always work
And if it doesn’t work, looks like it really hurts
I don’t like the gas chamber, what if you hold your breath, and try to linger
And if you take that breath, do you feel it in your lungs
Or is it over, is it just done
I don’t like the electric chair, sometimes they have to hit you over and over
3 or 4 times, it doesn’t seems fair
Why don’t they turn it up, or don’t they care

And if I have to go, in that direction I want lethal injection

man to man to man to man
Woman to woman, back to man see
I’m a man, I am poor, did I do it? Who knows for sure
I am black, Is that a fact?
I am white. But white trash right.
I am stupid, uneducated
I kill for money, you kill for the state
With your fine detection, you know I want lethal injection

It’s time. Hope my story brings lots of money
What will my last words be, hope they’re funny
Don’t want to say, something stupid
Like my flies open, or I am innocent

about

When Mark Messerly and Brian Ewing went on hiatus, it wasn’t even official. Cincy band Wussy kept Messerly busy and Ewing ... more had a similar schedule with Catalog Cowboys. But somehow they still found time to do acoustic gigs. In 2009, the pair resolved to celebrate their 15th year together by adding Sean Rhiney and Bill Donabedian as their backing band and turn up the volume. less
